The 6P, built by Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei, and the first Nexus phone that the company has ever built for Google is out-of-stock in Google Store.
According to reports, a spokesperson from Google said that the company "has no plans to restock."
Could this mean that the rumored Nexus Marlin (M1) and the Nexus Sailfish (S1) are coming to the market sooner that expected?
The Nexus 6P design is a "lazy copy and paste and expand job" according to Mashable, which is basically like a "second-generation Moto X" made with second tier metal frame, while 6P is using aluminum and Gorilla Glass 4 on the upper back side that houses the camera and antennas for wireless reception.
The 6P has two front-facing stereo speakers and 8MP front camera, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core chip and 3GB of RAM and battery life of 10-14 hours depending on usage with Quick Charge support.
Also, the phone has a 12.3MP rear camera supported by a laser autofocus sensor for speedy autofocusing and a dual LED flash which is comparable with a photo taken by the iPhone 6S. But sadly, the 6P does not have an optical image stabilization like iPhone 6S Plus and 6 Plus which affects taking photos in low-light and action-shots.
The next rumored Nexus phone will carry over some of the features from the 6P, such as the 12MP camera on the rear and 8MP on the front, though the hardware and software specifications are reportedly to be upgraded, thus making the image and video processing quality better.
