The International panellists in the Press Service International young writer program with Christian Today has a rich history determining the winners of the annual International Basil Sellers writers awards.
The 2017 International writer winning award is presented at the annual young writer awards on 12 August on the Sunshine Coast. The panellists mark the International young writers articles out of 10 points.

Vic Matthews
Vic Matthews is a graduate of NSW University in Optometry and later a Bachelor of Christian Studies through Macquarie Uni where he also gained a B.A. Vic served in a pastorate for some years, returned to optometry while speaking internationally and after retirement works as locum in optometry. Vic Matthews in an International young writer panellist and last year became a senior writer with Christian Today and a grand-dad of 8.
Euan McDonald
Euan McDonald is the current Uniting Church Minister in Laidley Qld and part of the "Confessing Congregations" within the Uniting Church in Australia, a conservative evangelical fellowship. He was in Mackay Qld for many years at West Mackay (Iona West Uniting Church) where he welcomed numerous Well-Being Australia Country Town Tours with athletes and coaches. He has a focus on young people ministry and served as the Deputy Chair of the Central Qld Presbytery for some years. Euan is a long standing International young writer panellist and a grand-dad of 5.
Daniel Stott
Daniel Stott is originally from New Zealand, came to Australia, ended up at bible college in Victoria, married and then settled on the Gold Coast with his bride Danielle. They served in various church and mission roles, and became young writers with aplomb and when they relocated back to Melbourne, Daniel was pleased to transfer from young writer to international panellist. Daniel is a teacher.
Nathanael Yates
Nathanael Yates has a PhD in Neuroscience and works as a researcher in Perth, Western Australia. Nathanael researches early life influences on mental health and brain development, and some years ago was interviewed by the Australian Missionary News IPTV. He is married to Clarissa (also a young writer) with one little daughter and number two on the way.
Deidre Tronson
Deidre Tronson is the sister-in-law of Press Service International's founder Mark Tronson. Dr Deidre resides on a 50 acre farm near Camden NSW, a retired university chemistry lecturer of many years and now has become the friend of many seeking her tuition and professionalism. In this case, Deidre edited many of Mark's 24 books and reviewed his daily articles for some years and then has been helping the young writers since its inception in 2009. Deidre has been a panellist for many years developing professional relationships with some young writers.
Danielle Carney-Stott
Raised in Melbourne, Danielle met her New Zealand husband Daniel at bible college in Melbourne and after marriage relocated to the Gold Coast. Danielle is never one to sit idle and involved in Christian work and mission including becoming a young writer and the 2014 Basil Sellers Young Writer award winner with $1000 from Mr Sellers. Danielle is a mum, relocated with Daniel to Melbourne and has been on the unwell list for a while, and was agreeable to be an internationals young writer panellist.

Dr Mark Tronson is a Baptist minister (retired) who served as the Australian cricket team chaplain for 17 years (2000 ret) and established Life After Cricket in 2001. He was recognised by the Olympic Ministry Medal in 2009 presented by Carl Lewis Olympian of the Century. He mentors young writers and has written 24 books, and enjoys writing. He is married to Delma, with four adult children and grand-children. Dr Tronson writes a daily article for Christian Today Australia (since 2008) and in November 2016 established Christian Today New Zealand.
