The Christian outreach program will begin in Spring 2008 and Rob Douglas, the chairman of the WA Steering Committee overseeing the JAAL campaign, said the program intends to be a catalyst for local churches to plan their outreach activities.
After seeing the success the campaign is generating in Adelaide, Canberra and Tasmania, Mr. Douglas hopes the same potential can be brought to Western Australia where churches from all denominations can come together in a united voice to proclaim the message of Christ.
"We have the advantage of building on the success of similar campaigns in Adelaide , Canberra and Tasmania ," Mr Douglas said. "From their experience we see the potential for 500 churches of all denominations coming together in a united voice that will have a powerful impact on our state."
The campaign will use prime time media such as TV commercials to generate public interest in the life changing message of Jesus Christ. It is expected to allow churches to connect with the media message and impact their local communities in a way no other campaign has done before in Australia.
