One student decided to be baptised after attending a university Christian summer camp in August.
The camp was one of a series held for university students during their summer break. CMS missionaries Grahame and Cathy Smith thanked people in Australia for their prayers for the camps. Over 70 students joined in the first event, including about eight non-Christians, and a large number of first year students. The 40 students who attended the second camp were challenged to re-think life values. There are still two more camps being held in September.
"Pray for decisions made at the camp to be acted on, especially the student who wants to be baptised, but has some family opposition" said Grahame. "And pray for students as they apply what they learnt to daily life on campus in second semester."
