Hollywood actress Jessica Alba is a known beauty in the industry, but more than that, the star is also a mother of two daughters. In a recent interview with Natural Health Magazine, Alba opens up about how she teaches her daughters the meaning of beauty to 6 year old Honor and 3 year old Haven.
"Growing up, whenever I was bullied, my mom would say, 'You're a beautiful girl. They're just jealous. It never helped. I want my girls to know that beauty is being kind...beauty is helping people...beauty is humility," she shares.
Her most recent endeavors also include running The Honest Company, an organization co-founded with Christopher Gavigan, Sean Kane and Brian Lee, a company that she hopes her girls can take over one day.
Outside of running her company, she hopes her daughters become inspired to become entrepreneurs and to discover their potential, find their passion in life and make a difference.
Not that being a part of Alba's company isn't a good way to break into a future of entrepreneurism. According to reports, Alba's organization is now worth nearly $1 billion, particularly when it starts to move towards public offering. Impressive given the success it has met only 2 years since it's launch.
While acting is definitely a big part of the actress' life, she is also making sure that she builds a legacy via this organization.
