The Jesus V8 Supercar will be driven in the Fujitsu Series by Andrew Fisher.
The Jesus V8 Ute will be driven in the Yokohama Series by experienced race driver Darren Orchard.
Andrew Fisher has done double-duty for the Jesus Racing Team in previous events, however in a bid to concentrate on the Supercar, he's handed the Ute to Orchard for the Oran Park races.
Orchard, a Canberra-based father of two, is an experienced driver, having raced alongside Fisher in both the MG and the Lotus Series. As a major plus, he's raced at Oran Park before, so is familiar with the track.
"I am confident he's the best person for the job," says Andrew. "Sharing the load frees me up to concentrate on the Fujitsu Supercar event, and gives us a chance to be competitive in both categories."
A serious accident at Mt Panorama in October put the future of the V8 Supercar in jeopardy, however hard work and generous support have seen the car repaired in time for testing early this week.
Both the Supercar and the Ute returned impressive times at the test-day, and are well-placed to return impressive results at the December event.
