Katy Perry sure knows how to do comedy.
During a recent concert in Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, the 30-year-old singer brought the house down in an impromptu comedic act.
She was walking around the stage when an oversized lollipop was lightly thrown her way. It hit her torso and much to everybody's surprise and delight, Katy feigned distress and fell to the floor.
"I never knew I would go by lollipop," she joked. Katy called herself "fragile" and "sensitive" as she expressed hoped that lollipop attacks would not become a trend.
She was wearing a princess costume and rainbow wig when the "attack" occured. She later got up, acted all serious and warned her audience about a serious disease she feared might have already infected the crowd.
Katy tried to act serious as she made her warning but it seemed her audience knew better, and they were right. The singer said that the "selfing" disease has affected everybody and she chided the crowd for taking "selfies" right before the concert started.
But she indulged one lucky fan who flew all the way from Canada to take a selfie with her before going on to her next song number.
