UK's largest Christmas carol service is being organised by various community groups. Hundreds of churches and other organisers will be joining together to create a joyous occasion to unite as many people as possible to celebrate the birth of Christ.
The event will take place in Didsbury, South Manchester at St. James and Emmanuel Church. The special 'North West Sings' service will be broadcast live on BBC Radio in efforts to join together the widest range of people. The celebration will combine performances from celebrities such as Sir Cliff Richard, Russell Watson as well as the highly acclaimed BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
