Dawson's Creek alum and two time Academy Award nominee, Michelle Williams has sold the home she once shared with the late, Heath Ledger. The Brooklyn home was sold for $8.8 million.
The 34 year old actress and her 9 year old daughter Matilda with the Joker actor placed the home for sale for $7.5 million. However the six-bedroom, and four and a half bath townhome got $1.3 million above the asking price.
The home was bought for $3.6 million back in 2005 with Ledger, who tragically died in 2008 due to an accidental overdose from prescription drugs.
Williams has apparently relocated to Los Angeles, reportedly to get more film roles, and now lives in Boerum Hill.
The actress can be seen in the film, Suite Francaise, which was released in November 2014, a film premised on a French villager and a German soldier. The movie is a big screen adaptation of the 2004 novel of the same name. She stars with Kristin Scott Thomas, Sam Riley, Margot Robbie and Matthias Schoenaerts.
