This was the basis of the occasional address to be given by Dr Murray Capill, principal of the local Reformed Theological College.
To execute this art work, Jeremy chose the missionary painter, Tronson du Coudray - otherwise known as Mark Tronson, chairman of Well-Being Australia - from whom he had previously commissioned biblically-inspired art work for his business cards.
Tronson du Coudray's art work titled "Good News" is a philosophical reflection on this title and was on display under lights for Jeremy Dover's Ordination.
This is the third major 'commission' this year for Tronson du Coudray. The other two have comprised a giant 2.2 metre long canvas from a Brazilian gentleman who saw the Well-Being Australia 'Art Ministry' advertisement in the Gold Coast Visitors Guide; while the second was on "Sport Art" for a private collection.
Over the years, M V Tronson has been given Bible verses to illustrate through his art and has developed this genre, along with paintings representing his long-term interest in sport and more decorative art works suitable for local resorts and restaurant walls. His philosophical art is bright and breezy.
The Art Ministry is an integral part of the Well-Being Australia mission, which also encompasses the Basil Sellers Art Centre in Moruya built in 2003; the biennial $15,000 Basil Sellers Art Prize in Moruya (NSW south Coast) established in 2004, and the Basil Sellers Tweed Fine Arts Studio in Tweed Heads (NSW north coast) started in 2006.
Mr Basil Sellers AM is an art mentor to Mark Tronson.
