Pokémon Go gamers have been looking for guides and ways to beat out fellow players in the quest to catch them all
For those who want to get ahead of the pack, it is recommended to utilize a new tool developed for the game known as the "Pokémon Go IV Calculator," to find out which monsters have higher stats.
As IGN reports, Pokémon Go has three hidden stats, known as individual values (IV). The tool helps gamers to attain hidden stats which will enable them to see how strong their Pokémon is during gym battles. In simple terms, IV will provide gamers with the creature's statistics, including their strength, stamina, and defense.
The tool is key to get that advantage as it will make a Pokémon distinctive and exceptional. Players will be able to use the tool as they proceed towards the advanced Pokémon trainers' stage. It will also offer them a guide in selecting the IV of their creatures.
The IV calculator functions as it moves inside the combat power (CP), hit points (HP) as well as the amount of Stardust, which is required to make them active and power up.
At present, there are some websites that are providing the tool, including PokéAssistant, Serebii.net, and Metalkid.info. Among all, the simplest is PokéAssistant, which has fewer fields for inputs, while the two others mentioned above are slightly more confusing and as there are many more fields.
To use the calculator, gamers have to make sure that the Pokémon up for evaluation is newly caught or hatched. They must have no effort values (EVs) yet.
For instance, players can get the tool from the PokéAssistant website. To get the IV calculated, gamers needs to fill in all the fields provided and in the "powered" field, it should be filled in as "no".
It has also been said that the individual value categories will evolve with time, as each Pokémon specializes in a diverse variant.
