Pokémon GO released its newest update on August 7 equipped with a fresh sighting bar, which has been incorporated into the game. In terms of the app tracking system, there are not many changes, just some features have been improved including footprints and grasses.
Firstly, as stated about the footprints, the only variation is before the glitch of automatically having three footprints for each pocket monster. It, in fact, offers the Pokemon GO trainer an idea of the direction whether the trainer is on the right path or not to track the Pokemon.
At present, it seems that the tall grasses redesign is being used to distinguish the look of what developer Niantic is beta testing in California, since the images show nearby PokeStops related to the Pokemon's current position and where they could be spawned.
With the new update, gamers have reported 100 percent success rate in tracking Pokemon.
Now, here are some tricks to successfully track a Pokemon every time the gamer starts playing.
It might seem to be a little boring, however, the trick does work, whenever the player sees a Pokemon on the sightings bar, walk in a straight path to track. If the creature disappears, then memorise the area where the game has stopped as well as mark the location as point 'A', after that just turn around and begin going down the opposite path.
Keep walking until the creature again disappears from the sightings bar and now, mark that second spot as point 'B'. Later, turn around and start walking halfway from point A to B, then turn 90 degrees from where the gamer is facing.
At that stage, you should find that it is either you walking towards the Pokemon or further away from it. If the Pokemon fades away from the sightings bar, walk in the reverse direction, and for sure, the gamer will be then walking in the right direction to catch it in a Pokeball.
Just a little note about the trick, do all these steps quickly as the Pokémon the gamer is tracking can flee away at any point.
