Justin St Vincent
Earning his BSc (Hons) degree in American Business Studies, Justin St Vincent has also graduated from Youth With A Mission’s Discipleship Training School (YWAM DTS) from the University of the Nations in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Best known for his global collaborative project exploring “The Spiritual Significance of Music” that developed into a worldwide trilogy exploring Music and Spirituality, Justin St Vincent says his vision for this project was to produce the world’s largest interview portfolio exploring Music and Spirituality.
From 2005-2010, he interviewed 1000 of the world’s most visionary musicians and writers publishing these exclusive interviews online, which became a powerful inspiration and resource for music-makers and music-lovers. The insightful interviews aimed to answer one question: “What do you believe is the spiritual significance of music?” He specifically designed a Christian Edition of the project and made it freely available to read online: www.xtrememusic.org/category/christian/
This Christian Edition provides readers with a faith-filled commentary on the celebrations, ceremonies, doctrine, dogma, relationship, and theology of music in Christianity. It reflects the encouraging ideas, inspirational thoughts, and uplifting words from Christian musicians. It also captures the interplay of perspectives concerning music in Christianity and presents musicians profiling Christian expressions of several music styles.
The anthology features viewpoints from almost the entire spectrum of Christian spirituality, plus Bible-based expositions on faith, hope, love, praise, prayer, spirituality, and worship. The first print edition explored “The Spiritual Significance of Music” and includes exclusive interviews with over 30 well-known Christian contributors including members of DC Talk, Delirious?, Parachute Band, Selah, Sons of Korah, and Underoath.
