Man United without Rooney had a fantastic 4-0 away win over local rivals Bolton. Berbatov was the star as United aimed to win an unprecedented fourth straight domestic title.
Arsenal blew the chance to stay with the leaders surrendering a 1-0 lead in the ninety fourth minute. Birmingham's Kevin Phillips was the hero at St Andrews with a last gasp equaliser.
Champions League hopefuls Man City had a comfortable 3-0 home win against Wigan. Tevez was the hero with a hatrick at Eastlands. Liverpool's Fernando Torres completed a double as Liverpool ran out 3-0 victors over Sutherland at Anfield. At White Heart Lane Harry Rednapp faced his former club Portsmouth. Spurs were brilliant for a comfortable 2-0 victory which keeps Tottenham in fourth position.
Ian Dowie got off the mark as Hull City recorded a 2-0 victory over Fulham. Another Bullard inspired performance gave the Tigers all three points as they battle to avoid relegation. Burnley couldn't beat local rivals Blackburn as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at home. West Ham manager Zola had to take some time off after another disappointing display. Stoke came to Upton park with a game plan and left with all three points. West Ham are now level on points with Hull in a tense bottom half of the table. Wolves held Everton to goal less draw.
