Liverpool's Fernando Torres completed a double as Liverpool ran out 3-0 victors over Sutherland at Anfield. At White Heart Lane Harry Rednapp faced his former club Portsmouth. Spurs were brilliant for a comfortable 2-0 victory which keeps Tottenham in fourth position.
Ian Dowie got off the mark as Hull City recorded a 2-0 victory over Fulham. Another Bullard inspired performance gave the Tigers all three points as they battle to avoid relegation. Burnley couldn't beat local rivals Blackburn as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at home. West Ham manager Zola had to take some time off after another disappointing display. Stoke came to Upton park with a game plan and left with all three points. West Ham are now level on points with Hull in a tense bottom half of the table. Wolves held Everton to goal less draw.
