Avenger's heroes have a lot of catching up to do with their intergalactic Jedi counterparts—if they want to beat them at the box office, that is.
According to a recent Fandango survey, the force is indeed strong with the latest addition to the Star Wars franchise, with them placing itself firmly on the top spot on the list of the most anticipated films of the year.
Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron takes second place, followed by Jennifer Lawrence's conclusion to the Hunger Games series, Mockingjay Part 2 in third, the big screen adaptation of the best seller, 50 Shades of Gray in fourth and the newest addition to the Jurassic Park franchise in fifth.
But with a banner year expected for the film industry in 2015, it seems that none of these films have anything to be worried about. The most anticipated and biggest movie sequels are expected to be released in 2015 much to the delight of moviegoers around the world. Notably, 50 Shades is the only film in the roster that isn't a sequel but it does merit from its best selling source material.
