Valve's Steam Summer Sale 2016 will surely appease the thirst of those wanting to try a brand new game over the holidays at the cheapest possible price - and gamers can now mark the sale in their calendars as the sale date has been confirmed for June 23rd.
There was much anticipation of the upcoming sale, with gamers speculating the exact date when the gaming platform will drop its prices. On June 16th PayPal UK finally confirmed that the start of Steam's Summer Sale is 23rd June.

According to Reddit, a user by the name of 'MrFreemanBBQ' apparently confirmed the date.
The information leak stated that the sale will start at 9:45PM Pacific Time on June 23rd and will end by 10:00AM on July 4th. Which almost coincided to what PayPal UK later announced.
Rumours are also swirling that various big name titles to go on sale for Playstation Plus will include "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture," "Watch Dogs," "Resident Evil HD Remaster," "Infamous Second Son," and "The Evil Within".
Two of the PC gaming Summer sales have already gone live, and today is actually the last day of GOG's DRM-Free Summer Sale 2016 which features "Ashes of the Singularity" and other exciting titles.
