The first season of 'Stranger Things' may have ended on a happy note when Will returns home alive, but there are several questions that need to be answered in Season 2.
First and foremost, where is Eleven and is she is alive? The mysterious girl with telekinetic power disappeared along with the monster she defeated. Her friends thought that she died along with the Demogorgon.
However, the finale teased that she could return in Season 2. Hopper even left some Eggos and other items for her in a forest hatch; providing hope for fans that she is alive and made contact with him.
Hopper even agreed to remain silent about Eleven and the monster fiasco in exchange for passage to the Upside-Down. Viewers saw him entering a car along with the two unidentified man. Whatever deal he made still remains unknown.
When Hopper and Joyce found Will in the Upside Down, he was gagged with a big root or tentacle into his mouth. Later on, he even vomits out a leech. The image of creepy and dark world also flashes from his memory.
In a previous interview, series creators Matt and Ross Duffer hinted that Will is "emotionally and physically troubled." His stay in Upside-Down affected him very deeply. They assured Season 2 of 'Stranger Things' will divulge details what happened during his stay.
Netflix is yet to announce the release date for 'Stranger Things' Season 2.
