Vision has been steadily growing over the last 12 years and the Sydney service marks 514 locations for the network. This landmark new station also means that Vision is finally heard in every state capital.
Vision Sydney 1611 AM has good coverage across the whole of Sydney's South-West, Hills and Greater West, with in-car listening across a significantly wider area.
"We know Vision will complement the good work already being undertaken by Hope and others using Christian media in Sydney, resulting in even more people being reached and forever changed through the message of the Gospel," said Vision's CEO, Ian Worby.
The launch of Vision's Sydney station also means three capital citiesâ€"Adelaide, Melbourne and now Sydneyâ€"share the broadcast frequency 1611 AM. Vision's 24/7 programming is a fun mix of contemporary adult Christian music, messages from top national and international speakers and practical teaching, all aimed at 'Connecting Faith to Life'.
Another distinctive feature of Vision's programming is UCB News, a quality hourly service which offers listeners today's news through the lens of a Christian worldview.
Vision is a ministry of United Christian Broadcasters Australia Ltd (UCB). UCB is thrilled to be able to connect hundreds of communities across the country to the people of Sydney with this new station covering much of Australia's largest state capital. Outside the broadcast area, listeners can tune in on-line, via smartphones or satellite at www.vision.org.au
