The 8th Australian Gospel Music Festival held from the 14th till the 16th of April 2006, is outlining a promising roster of performers during the festival next year with the recent addition of many top names including Random, Hillsong United, MIC, Nathan Tasker and Reuben Morgan.
Random who won the X-Factor reality TV competition in May this year will join the 3 days festival, together with famous youth band Hillsong United.
MIC, a South African funky pop R&B quartet will make their first visit to Australia, with a reputation attracting mass crowds in similar international festivals.
Nathan Tasker, the energetic vocalist and creative lyricist who won this year's lucrative Pacific Song writing Competition will perform songs from his new album Must be More.
Australian worship leader Reuben Morgan will treat AGMF 06 audiences to a unique event, following his return from highly acclaimed tours to the UK, Germany, Norway, Sweden, the USA, and Canada.
These artists will be joining the existing star-studded acts including Australian born Grammy(r) winner Rebecca St. James, Newsboys, Superchic[k], Pillar, plus worship leaders Darlene Zschech and Robin
Mark.
According to Festival Director Isaac Moody, each of these acts has amassed a large fan base in Australia.
The Australian Gospel Music Festival held annually in the city of Toowoomba attracts more than 30,000 people each year.
