The Originals executive producer Michael Narducci has dished out that baby Hope Mikaelson will be unique and have powers that would be worthy of her hybrid parentage in the second half of season 2, which will air on January 19, 2015.
"We want to explore what makes the child of Klaus, a hybrid, and Hayley, a werewolf, completely different from any other child on this planet," Narducci revealed.
He said that Hope's powers would be "subtle at first, then maybe not-so-subtle."
Klaus will be seen keeping his daughter's existence a secret from his enemies at all costs, including aunt Dahlia (Kristin Erickson), vampire hunter father Mikael (Sebastian Roché), brother Finn (Yusuf Gatewood), and another brother Kol (Daniel Sharman), who has teamed up with Davina (Danielle Campbell) in creating a dagger that can be used against Klaus.
Hope's aunt Rebekah (Claire Holt) has a new body issue that will keep her distracted, so it will be up to Klaus to protect Hope when The Originals will return to television next year.
