For almost twenty years, they have volunteered their services to the Basil Sellers House ministry which provides respite to Australian Institute of Sport athletes," M V Tronson explained.
"When we initiated the building program in 1989, we required the services of such a small business. On meeting Matt and Leonie, we struck up a friendship and their involvement with our mission has gone on from there," M V Tronson noted.
Moreover, all the Boyes family members have been stalwarts of the local Moruya Christian community, serving throughout these years in youth, home group and church leadership roles and giving strong support to Mark and Delma Tronson in their athlete respite ministry.
But it is not the only the personal relationships and community support that have impressed Well-Being Australia. Not only do they have four children of their own, and now grandparents as well, but Matt and Leonie have been long-term foster carers, raising another three children.
"It is wonderful to have the capacity to present a token of appreciation to such proven and delightful community-minded people, who extend their commitment to following Jesus to reach to more than local church involvement," M V Tronson mused.
SALT Kingscliff Peppers Resort in the Tweed, north coast of New South Wales has provided accommodation vouchers to Well-Being Australia as part of their business promotion.
