It seems like Xiaomi is racing to churn out one smartphone after another. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been launched in China just 6 months after the introduction of Redmi Note 3.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi's Note 4 has not many changes from its predecessor and has developed few features to present in its new offering.
The first thing which catches the eye is the look and design and Note 4, which is slightly different looking from the Note 3. It comes with a full metal body, 2.5D curved front glass, antenna lines on the back, bottom speaker, and dual LED flash camera—13MP rear and 5MP front with a fingerprint scanner, which is added for the first time. Xiaomi is claiming that the camera lens has an 85 degree field of view.
It has a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with a 1080x1920 pixel resolution.
Note 4 is the first Xiaomi smartphone to run on the company's latest MIUI 8 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The handset comes with a deca-core MediaTek helio X20 processor paired with 2/3GB of RAM and a Mali T880 MP4 GPU.
As for the storage, it has a 16/64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with the help of a micro SD card.
Those who expected the battery life of Note 3 to be more long lasting, they would be happy as Note 4 offers a beastly 4,100mAh battery life with options of fast charging.
The handset comes with a price tag of $135 for 16GB and $180 for 64GB storage in three colors.
