Soon-to-be parents Dr. Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson) and Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel) from Hart of Dixie will be making strides in their relationship on the third episode of season 4 entitled "The Very Good Bagel," which will be aired on January 23, 2015.
CW has released the official synopsis of the episode: After weeks of going back and forth with their relationship problems, Zoe and Wade finally start making progress. Lemon (Jaime King) reminisces about her high school days and enlists Annabeth (KaitlynBlack) and Crickett (guest star Brandi Burkhardt) to crash George's (Scott Porter) parents' lake house. While rescuing the girls from their fun night, George and Lavon (Cress Williams) make drastic decisions regarding their love lives. Tim Matheson also stars. Richard W. Abramitis directed the episode written by Kendall Sand.
Wade will find out about Zoe's pregnancy by the end of episode 2, which is entitled "The Curling Iron." Bethel's character seems to be confused as to Zoe's attempts to make amends, and seeks love advice from Lemon. Zoe, on the other hand, placed her focus on work.
The show's executive producer Leila Gerstein said that a lot of laughs will ensue as Zoe and Wade try to handle the pregnancy. "Episode 3 will see both of them overreacting to this news in crazily inappropriate ways," she said.
"Finally, by the end of episode 3, they will have come around and there will be a major resolution as to what's going to happen between them and their child," added Gerstein.
She also made a lot of fans happy by saying that the couple was "destined to be together."
"Without the pregnancy, their relationship would have worked out. But I think they probably wouldn't be able to take things slow. I think they have too much history. Eventually they would have found their way back to each other for good," she said.
