Ben Campbell CEO Africa Enterprise and a Mission’s writer is one of the plenary speakers for the 2021 young writers conference on Saturday 11 September on the Gold Coast.
Press Service International is the young writer ministry in conjunction with Christian Today which provides young people 18-30 years the opportunity to expand their horizons and be embolden by being published internationally with their own column writing ‘Comment’.
In 2019 - Press Service International (PSI) - for 10 years of promoting young writers - was awarded the Gutenberg – the Australasian Religious Press Association (ARPA) premier award – likened to the Golden Logies for Christian print media.
Ben Campbell was introduced to the PSI program through Well-Being Australia’s “One Day in Melbourne” in 2017 which is a one day program for mission media personnel.
As a result, Ben Campbell and Dr Mark Tronson founder of Press Service International put their heads together when Christian Today asked for a mission column. Ben Campbell came to the party - he and his team now provide a regular Missions column for Christian Today.
Christian young people have a natural proclivity to mission, and it was deemed an ideal juncture to join them at the young writers conference in September where Ben Campbell in a plenary will address the subject of the factors associated with writing about / for / on - Missions / Missionary activity … a subject of some breadth.
