The “Best of 2018” Press Service International (PSI) young writer articles kick-starts on Monday (31 December) for a two week period over the New Year period giving the young writers a well deserved break.
It has been a huge year for the PSI young writers from Australia and New Zealand along with their Christchurch conference on 1 September with the annual awards.
Each of the young writers have now put down their quills (as it were) for this two week respite time before they pick-up the program once again on the 14 January 2019.
Next year there are additional young writers in the program, some returning after a period of time, others are new to the project, but whatever the case, if anything like this year is to go, they will be as-keen-as once the new year program gets under way at the end of January.
The five week program of young writers of each Cycle will see an Over 31’s dedicated week with their own coordinator and editor. Each young writer has their own web presence CV site – they may be viewed by moving across the top of the page where they are listed under their separate nations, sport and internationals.
Over this next two weeks the 2018 young writers who attended the Christchurch conference have their ‘best article’ as determined by the Panellists republished in Christian Today.

Dr Mark Tronson is a Baptist minister (retired) who served as the Australian cricket team chaplain for 17 years (2000 ret) and established Life After Cricket in 2001. He was recognised by the Olympic Ministry Medal in 2009 presented by Carl Lewis Olympian of the Century. He has written 24 books, and enjoys writing. He is married to Delma, with four adult children and grand-children. Dr Tronson writes a daily article for Christian Today Australia (since 2008) and in November 2016 established Christian Today New Zealand.
