‘Captain’s Baggy Green’ was one of series of art works by Tronson du Coudray on cricket.
Dr Mark Tronson was the Australian cricket team chaplain for 17 years and when he relocated to Tweed Heads on December 2005 he initiated a season of professional art (painting under his historic family name – Tronson du Coudray).
A number of these art works were features of cricket and as he was regularly visiting the AIS Cricket Academy in his athlete respite ministry role, he presented these paintings to various coaches, cricketers and Qld cricket.
This art work ‘Captain’s Baggy Green’ was painted for Allan Border..
