Internationals young writer Crystelda Naidoo won the Internationals Tronson Award presented at the annual young writers conference on the Gold Coast on Saturday.
The Awards are presented at 4.00pm of the conference each year – there are a number of awards but with Covid 19 restrictions many were unable to attend in 2020.
Each of the Internationals young writers in the Press Service International program in conjunction with Christian Today sent in their BEST article for the five Panellists to mark out of 25 - the 25 mark was chosen as in previous years there have been too many multiple winners out of 10 marks.
The International’s Panellists
Vic Matthews - a theologian and author
Darren Lawson - headmaster and Olympian
Travis Barnes - a pastor and poet
Tony de Viewvitt - ret RAAF VIP Pilot
Alex Gillespie - a Post Grad
Tronson Award
The Tronson Award has two string attributes – the first is a top result by the Panellists, the second is engaged in the Press Service International ministry.
Crystelda Naidoo
Hailing from South Africa, Crystelda is an avid nerd and an unapologetic dreamer. With a BSc. Biological Sciences and BCom Hons in marketing, she has launched the Christian lifestyle blog - Selah Blogger and is the joint winner of the 2019 International Theology Award.
Crystelda served for some considerable time as the Coordinator for the International young writers. This involves sending three reminders over a 10 day period prior to their due dates throughout the year. This is a massive undertaking.
