David Goodwin is now representing the young writer ministry at the ‘Australasian Religious Press Association’ (ARPA) meetings (on Zoom).
In 2019 in Christchurch ARPA’s premier award the Gutenberg was awarded to Press Service International – the young writer ministry – one of the Well-Being Australia ministries.
The young writers were established in 2009 in conjunction with Christian Today - by Dr Mark and Delma Tronson - the retired Australian cricket team chaplain (17 years) and awarded the Olympic Ministry Medal in 2009 by Olympian of the Century, Carl Lewis.
They have represented the young writer ministry at APRA for the past 12 years – in that time Dr Tronson pushed for younger faces to ARPA meetings – generally editors of Christian publications were naturally senior figures.
Now 70, Mark Tronson says it is now time for young faces to represent the young writers.
