The Press Service International young writer program in conjunction with Christian Today has each Week's editor or coordinator write a review of their week the week after publication.
This is published in the weekly young writer memo and on the young writers private closed Facebook page.
As this is a new venture recommended by the young writer brain's trust chair Sam Gillespie from Sydney and it has been functioning very well.
Week 4
Cycle 5 review - Ashley Menelaws
This week saw an amazing jump in depth and revelation in each article of those in week 5. Each writer managed to tap into a topic that was near and dear to them personally, but at the same time contain revelation and valuable insights we can all apply to our own walks.
I was challenged personally by several of the articles and that served as a reminder as to why we all do this. We do this to be a voice to Christian and non Christians world wide, to discuss and share our opinions on pressing issues whilst providing a biblical perspective, to encourage other from our own personal victories or struggles and to be a light - a city set on a hill in the digital age.
Each writer poured something new into their article this week and each article contains a piece of wisdom and insight we could all use and take note of on our own personal journeys. I must not forget our IT young writer Zach Radloff who brings something new in IT each Cycle.

Week 1 - Cycle 5
Internationals
Another great week by our international young writers al-be-it their articles took some days to get uploaded with the change-over of a new Christian Today editor.
I saw several themes in this week’s international young writers, the predominant one was the perennial issue of “waiting upon the Lord”.
How true is this for all of us and had you read all these pieces this week, you too might have given that thought some consideration.
I applaud Sharma, Rosie, Jason, Charis, Stacy-Anne, Kandima, Cindy, Josh, Aaron, Beckie, Christina and Ashley as they carefully crafted their pieces so as to warm the cockles of our hearts (a Churchill phrase).
