Mr Basil Sellers AM a wonderful gracious helper to the young writer program run by Press Service International and published by Christian Today - hosted last week the (ARPA) Australasian Religious Press Association’s premier award, The Gutenberg.
Then ARPA President Peter Bentley at the 2019 ARPA annual awards in Christchurch last September presented The Gutenberg to Dr Mark Tronson for 10 years of young writer ministry.
Basil Sellers from the inception of the young writers way back in 2009 has engaged in this literacy program ensuring the next generation of young writers had experienced tutors and given much encouragement with awards and consultation.
In March 2015, five years ago, the Brain’s Trust of the young writer program met for morning tea with Basil Sellers in his home – see photo above.
At the morning tea were
Laura Veloso - 5 years later now a coordinator of the Australian young writer Panellists

Russell Modlin - a foundation young writer, the initial chair of the Brain’s Trust, now a senior writer and the much loved perennial MC at the young writer conference.
