“A thing of beauty” is how Christian Today Editor has described the new release Anthology from the writers of Christian Today Australia, God In Life.
God In Life: Anthology was released for sale at the beginning of May 2020. It is a collection of inspirational, thought-provoking articles stemming from reflections of everyday experiences and some not-so-everyday experiences. With 26 contributing authors from Australia and New Zealand, the stories are varied and interesting—yet all sharing the one beautiful faith.
Copies of the books have been distributed and readers are loving what they are reading.
Major Jennifer Peterson from the Salvation Army responds:
“I’m really enjoying God In Life. I read one every night when I go to bed. Such great articles. I’ve been blessed by each one I’ve read so far. Very inspirational. These young writers have such deep insight into spiritual things. The book itself is so easy to hold and read. It’s very well set out.”
Supporting the next generations of faith writers
The spiritual reflections, thoughts and revelations coming through the next generations is a new move of God—a fresh wave. It is refreshing to see a boldness arising through the power of the word, and as the body of Christ, it is something that the older generations should be encouraged to, in godly wisdom, stand beside and cheer along. Walking arm in arm with the next generation, we not only provide encouragement, but we ensure the next generations are going to hear the good news which is being passed down as described in Deuteronomy chapter 6 verses 6-7:
‘These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.’
The personal testimony is a powerful thing, and each article written within this book is a testimony to the relationship each writer has with God. Revelation chapter 12 verse 11 states:
‘They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.’
Each writer has boldly stated their faith in God and shown in a practical sense, His power in their lives. This too is a powerful thing in the spiritual realm. Jesus says in Luke chapter 12 verse 8:
“I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God.”
Positive responses beginning to flow
So, we are excited to present to you this wonderful compilation of written testimonies and thoughts into the working of God through people’s lives. And the impacts are already fruitful.
Responses beginning to flow received from some of our writers include:
“…thank you for putting such a challenging thought into the book. I love your ability to break a topic like “get out of your own way” down into a simple easy to understand article. It’s really relatable and definitely encourages me to put action to what I want to see change in my life, not just talk about what I want to change. Once again thank you!”
“I’m super grateful for your thought provoking and challenging article. I just wanted to say that your piece around betrayal is a great mindset challenger, but is also an encouraging reminder on how to handle betrayal. Sometimes I forget that I can give everything to God and betrayal would be one of those things I can trust God with”
“A thought-provoking book so far! I don’t enjoy reading but I don’t want to put the book down except to write this post and post it…”(Tsevi from QLD)
