Whatever it is that we are facing, there is a way to success.
How do we apply this to our life?
It’s simple, expect God to expose biblical wisdom to begin a walk down new pathways of prosperity in life. God the creator of all is the definition of creative, we are made in His image and have full ability to dream and create success from those impossible situations.
We all have a vast reservoir of creative ideas and answers that God has placed within just waiting to be found and come to life.
If we tend to be negative thinkers, we need to cultivate a new way of thinking.
Our way of thinking comes from what we read.
Dexter Yager advises in the introduction of his book Dynamic People Skills that we do the following when we read a book:
Read it more than once
Underline and make notes
Reread the underlined sections
Find a way to apply the material immediately
Select two or three principles and make them a habit kn your life
God has actually given us privilege and responsibility to search for ways to walk in triumphant partnership with Him.
In order for us to walk hand in hand in that partnership with God, we have to think and be positive, prepared and expectant people who step up to the challenged and find solutions (don’t give up until we find them).
The story of two shoe salesmen in Africa:
Once upon a time, a shoe company sent two salesmen to Africa to determine the market potential for their products. One salesman was sent to the east coast of Africa, while the other salesman was sent to the west coast of Africa. Both the salesmen completed a basic survey of the target market and called back to the office. The salesman sent to the east coast of Africa reported “No one here wears any shoes, there is no market for us here!”. The other salesman sent a message “No one here wears any shoes, there is a huge market for us, send inventory fast!”
God’s success is our success. The point of the story above, is that our perspective influences our character when we are to find solutions in certain situations. Meaning, if we can’t change a situation, we act as the salesman that was sent to the east coast.
However, if you see the world as a place full of opportunities, we act as the west coast salesman.
God is capable of all things, we can never detract from what God can do, God undoubtedly works in people who act.
Jesus tells us a story in Luke’s gospel of a man who went to his friend in the middle of the night to ask for food because of an unexpected guest who had arrived. The friend hesitant to help as, in true middle eastern culture, the whole family including animals were secured in the house. In other words to open the door would mean chaos.
The man finally received what he was asking for, not because he was a friend but simply, he was persistent and would not take no for an answer.
This is how God wants us to be persistent don’t give up, when you are faced with problems you should always I repeat always expect God to back you up in your quest to that success.
So I say to you: Ask (pray) and it will be given to you; seek (find a way to win) and you will find; knock (look for opportunities) and the food will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives ; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke chapter 11, verse 9 and verse 10
We shouldn’t be a people that just give up when we face yet another closed door.
We should never accept that God has only little for us David said, “you broaden the path beneath me” Psalm chapter 18, verse 36
This verse refers to an army that finds itself trapped in a narrow passage with mountains of hills on either side, the enemy is both on the mountains and behind. There is no way out until the army look for an escape route, they see a small opening ahead of them a path through the mountains, their escape route!
If we will look and find solutions to our problems, temptations and sins in life, it is then we allow God to work within us to be successors.
We should block all negativity from the enemy, look for a way.. there is always a small opening ahead leading us out from the lies and threats that the enemy throws at us.
When believers arise and understand that temptation or failures don’t have authority over their lives because God has called them to victorious success, it is then he will be honored.
