Reverent evangelical Christian men and women interested in political and social issues, regularly pray for national politicians, business leaders and those in key professional type situations. This is what Christians do.
Therefore I for one, am delighted this heading is fake news, that the Qantas head Alan Joyce (who I pray for regularly) was not caned, or imprisoned or worse, in Qatar.
Yet, such Christians are not at all clear why business operates on a different level to social mores such as Alan Joyce's self acclaimed homosexuality and his use of his position for Qantas to promote homosexuality and now – we know – of his business deal between Qantas and Qatar.
Qatar has the most remarkable draconian laws against homosexuality. The question posed, 'how does this work'?

Margaret Court
Now we see the situation with tennis great Margaret Court who so happens to disagree with Alan Joyce and his supportive leftie elites homosexual community and gives him a right verbal upper cut – in effect says - I don't agree how you are promoting your personal sexual calamitous dramas through Qantas.
Then such Christians read an open letter from former tennis player Martina Navrotilova who writes a letter putting a case to remove Margaret Court's name, mind you Australia's greatest tennis player of all time, off the 'Margaret Court Arena' in Melbourne. Such Christians might well ask, where is this Navrotilova from?
Such Christians inevitably ask, who are these people? We might understand why the lefties and elites object to a public national vote on this subject – forgot the polls which can be manipulated – in such Christians' view, they'd lose. (This also seems to be the view of those Cross Bench Senators who voted against the plebiscite).
Australian Law right now is, marriage is between and man and a woman. So these Christians ask, what a hide – that this same homosexual community bang-on about members of corporate and university boards who are such Christians and should be turfed-out and where free speech 'advertising' is hit. Such Christians are horrified by these things, bullying. There are Government paid programs in schools specifically directed against bulling, yet they turn a blind eye to what's happening here.

Reality check
These Christians might well ask us all to remember 'Yes Minister', how the question was put from surveys - as to secure the result sought. In that instance it was whether the British public supported their young people doing a stint in the military (National Service). To ensure a 'no' vote the suggested question related to whether the voting public wanted highly trained thugs on the streets of Britain.
These Christians concur, polls relating to transgender and homosexual family's children can likewise be manipulate. There are an equal number of surveys supporting Margaret Court's ascertains. These Christians know how the game is played.
There is something more. Such Christians says the Bible has been around a long time. Those like them with a Bible believing world view claim is that - sadly these lefties and elites either have not read the Bible or comprehend the seriousness of the Jesus' own teaching. No one in the Bible speaks more horribly of the consequences of the Devil and Hell as does Jesus himself. Reality check!
No wonder they are angry at preachers like Margaret Court, who simply teach what it says. Maybe some preachers are a bit clumsily, but the message is nonetheless clear enough. What Jesus says is frightening. Readers are left in no doubt as to a choice, who do you follow? These Christians follow Jesus?
Consider this - should the Federal Government ever pass homosexual marriage with the legal implications they seek, this would hold the rest of society to a legal blackmail, and how might anyone holding a different view survive. Many more jails would be required. Alan Joyce might be flying all by himself with a few elites and lefties to Qatar, the rest of the nation may well be in jail. This is hard ball politics.

There is something else
These Christians also ask us all to consider what Margaret Court has contributed to the nation. Tennis international acclaim and entertainment beyond the nation's imagination. A wife of 50 years and 4 children and oodles of grand children. Margaret Court initiated a church in Perth, now a mega congregation with massive social welfare arms and youth programs illustrating the positives of life.
Take a long hard look at those who have come out against this remarkable Australian and Christian Minister. Different questions will inevitably be asked.
And consider this – The Government's fiscal policies of all persuasions, indeed including the Bible - 'forever banging-on about the next generation' – and the Greens and their fellow travellers support this with their concerns for the environment – yes for future generations'. Such Christians point out these same people with their policies, climb over backwards supporting the homosexual community who through their intent, babies seems to be off the agenda. The dichotomy is astonishing. Extreme selfishness.
Such Christians ask - doesn't anyone point these thing out.
Two things - who knows, such Christians around the nation might be so targeted by the homosexual lefties and elites they might be forced to take their names off their 'letterboxes'. Moreover, they might be deemed as 'deplorables' … it would seem they might wear such a political label with the joy of the Lord!
