Press Service International which coordinates the young writer ministry in conjunction with Christian Today is calling for young people keen to explore their writing skills with Comment pieces published to an international audience.
18-30 years is the age bracket. Each young writer has their own editor to help them through the process.
The young people write once every 5 weeks - it is very simple, there are 5 weeks in each Cycle. There are 10 Cycles a year.
Comment writing
Christian Today is a news and comment site, it is part of CMCI (Christian Media Corporation Int) which houses 101 mast heads of which Christian Today Australia and Christian Today New Zealand are a part.
Comment writing is the writer’s take (view) on an issue - Christian topics, relationships and personal, community, arts, sport, commerce and industry - but not ‘sermons’ or ‘devotionals’ (thousands of other sites for these).
CMCI largest masthead is the Christian Post in the USA – massive, followed by Christian Today UK – also massive readership.
Welcome young people
We are on a drive for additional young people. This is not an appeal for literary dons, rather ordinary young people who would like some exposure with their own by-line and willing to have a go. Currently there are 110 such young people.
