1 January 2021 spells out a new year for Well-Being Australia and this would be a good idea for a new year article.
The first thing to note is the excitement of any church who plants a new congregation and to witness that new Christian work develop, expand and become established on its own two feet.
This happened mid year at the church we worship – Living Temple Christian Church (Tugun Baptist) (lower Gold Coast) who planted a new church at Coolanagatta and now a third fellowship at Banora Point just across the NSW border.
So too Well-Being Australia with its young writer ministry – Press Service International – PSI - who were awarded the Australasian Religious Press Association (ARPA) premier award in 2019 - The Gurenberg.
For three years the Kiwi young writers and the International young writers have been ‘standing alone’ – each has been functioning themselves – and only came back to PSI to answer tricky questions. There are inevitably tricky questions.
In 2021 both the Kiwi young writers and the international young writers will become separate to PSI - they will each run their own show (as it were).
Leaders
The Kiwi young writers have been functioning in Stand Alone mode so nothing changes at that level. Their go to person is Tim Newman the CTNZ link person.
The International young writers have likewise been functioning in Stand Alone and some things have change – but none the less the go to person is long standing international young writer Paul Lewis.
Both Tim Newman (NZ) and Paul Lewis (Internationals) have been multiple young writer ‘Award’ winners. Tim was a plenary speaker at the 2018 young writer conference held in Christchurch.

Clearly it is an exciting time for us all to witness the new birth of two new ministries who have tremendous reputations, now released to their own leadership.
Press Service International
PSI retains the Australian young writers, the senior writers, sport, mission, persecution, music, Christian News ….
Christian Today is a separate Entity to all three young writer groups. To maintain the publishing routine of all three, that publishing days are being handled by PSI as are the annual awards.
