Tronson du Coudray provides an art work for the monthly Tweed Heads Chamber of Commerce breakfast ‘business card draw’ and Tuesday 13 July was no different with this art work “Vaccine Policy”.
This art creation ‘Vaccine Policy’ symbolises the dramas across Australia between Federal and the various State policies associated with the Covid vaccine roll out and which one.
The stories are legion as to the availability of the various vaccines, the aged care situation, whether children should get the vaccine and a hundred other scenarios. Moreover ‘passing the buck’ is now an art form in itself and even the refusal of officials to answer pretty simple questions by journalists.
This art work ‘Vaccine Policy’ by Tronson du Coudray (his historical family name the artistic name for Dr Mark Tronson, is the retired Australian cricket team chaplain of 17 years) is part of his philosophical art genre.
He has been painting for 40 years and heralded with the Basil Sellers Art Centre in Moruya way back in 2003 followed by the Moruya $15,000 Basil Sellers Art Prize and the Basil Sellers Art Studio in Tweed Heads and the Basil Sellers Midge Point Art Prize (Whitsundays).
