That’s the theme of this year’s Hillsong Conference 2017 commencing this Tuesday July 4 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, and if this weekend’s services have been anything to go by, it has already begun, with Pastor John Gray, of Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston Texas, preaching across Sunday morning’s Hillsong Church services and Pastor Craig Groeschel of Life.Church also in America, preaching Sunday evening in Hillsong’s City campus, two locations in Waterloo and Alexandria, Sydney.
The church is ready and waiting for what some of the world’s most renowned preachers are going to say about God, the church at large and God at work in communities right across the globe.
“One church with many rooms” is the way Global Senior Pastor, Brian Houston has always described Hillsong Church, a church he began in a tin shed in Baulkham Hills more than thirty years ago. But Hillsong Conference is not just for Hillsong goers; rather Hillsong Conference is about empowering the local church, whatever the denomination, with the message of Jesus Christ, to equip and inspire them to continue to do the work of Jesus in communities everywhere and to reach people with a message of inclusivity and love.
So will you be one of the people in line at Qudos Bank Arena on Tuesday evening? Be sure to arrive with plenty of time to get into the night session, free and open to the public (even if you have not registered yet) as the lines get pretty long and it will definitely reach the capacity 21 000 crowd limit by 6pm, when the night is scheduled to commence with Jentezen Franklin, of Free Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia kicking off the Conference with what will undoubtedly be an explosive sermon.
What can you expect from Hillsong Conference?
Hillsong Conference will take place over four days at Qudos Arena, commencing Tuesday night, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and closing Friday night.

As people flood out of the Main Auditorium, Sydney Olympic Park will become a vast array of mini conferences and personal interest sessions, each dealing with different facets of the message of the Gospel and its practical outworking.
Hillsong’s ‘Sphere’ sessions are designed to appeal to people from all walks of life, not just those in ministry, and each day these sessions will run.
KidSong and Young & Free Conference will run parallel to the main event, meaning there is a conference for all ages this year. Be sure to check out the Hillsong Conference 2017 website for information on registration and attendance.
There is a splash out area, a relaxing area, a food truck area, sections where Mums with bubs can sit comfortably, sections where you can get some air, sections where you can warm by the heaters – practically every need is met in and around Qudos Arena. So be sure to grab yourself a healthy snack (or something fried if you think you deserve it) and browse the stalls, chat to the thousands of volunteers who are floating around to make sure you get to where you need to be, and enjoy what is set to be a phenomenal experience at the largest annual conference in the Southern Hemisphere.
